We’ve worked on a wide range of projects to date, at home and abroad, in large companies and
small. Here are some examples:
Organisation development for high potential Start Up Company in South East Ireland. Working with the
Management Team we reviewed the Strategic Direction of the Business and Designed an Organisation Structure to
support planned growth. Following on from the Design phase we then worked with the Company to Implement
Organisation development for high profile Pharmaceutical Company in
Dublin. Tonic 4 Business worked with the organisation to create job family levels, salary structure and
career progression / development for Business with emphasis on Scientific / Technical area.
Design, development and event management of conferences for senior management teams of European commercial
operations - these conferences were attended by over 100 Senior Management from Countries across Europe and
involved a hands-on approach working closely with the European Senior Management Teams and with the external
Tonic4business worked closely with the Senior Management Team of the CEE Region of a Multinational
Organisation to help support the development of the Regional Strategy through team building and leadership
Development of career leadership and talent management process & workshop for European
Organisation. Like many organisations the Company realised they had a skills and succession gap and
tonic4business were asked to help design a talent management process for the Companies pan European business.
Part of the process is to invite “talent” from the different European countries to a “Career Leadership Workshop”
where the participants review their career aspirations, participate in workshops on real business topics and learn
from the Senior Team Members about what they did to succeed.
Strategy development and deployment, supporting the VP of HR in the development
of an HR strategy for Europe, and working with each of the Country HR managers to compile a master HR Project Plan
We have also managed numerous re-organisations and change management activities,
involving upsizing and downsizing. One of these re-organisations involved the introduction of a
Continuous Improvement team structure to a business in Ireland.
The operation was re-designed to create self-directed teams, to reduce layers of management and to
build on the principles of lean manufacturing.
Design of total reward strategies including creation of new management and employee bonus schemes, one
of these staff schemes involved the introduction of a union negotiated bonus scheme
with individual ratings.
Development of communication strategy and frameworks, design and co-ordination of company
newsletters, road-shows, e-newsletters, breakfast / lunch meetings.
Training needs analysis for senior European management team including design of a competency
based development programme.
Design and implementation of performance management systems and training workshops.
